Welcome to Restoran Citarasa Mokku, where the vibrant flavours of Terengganu come alive in the quaint setting of Kampung Tembok Baharu. This culinary gem exemplifies the charm of local dining, inviting both residents and visitors to indulge in a delightful array of traditional Malaysian dishes.
At Restoran Citarasa Mokku, variety is the name of the game. As evidenced by glowing reviews from satisfied customers, this establishment offers everything from the comforting Bee Hoon Soup—which one patron declared “to die for”—to hearty breakfast staples like Nasi Lemak and Nasi Dagang. The menu is a treasure trove of options, catering to various tastes and preferences, making it an ideal spot for breakfast and lunch alike. Customer feedback highlights the stress-free atmosphere and affordable prices, making it accessible to all who crave authentic local cuisine.
The highlight of the dining experience is, without a doubt, the generous portions paired with mouthwatering flavours. Reviewers such as Amirul Mastor laud the inviting selection of rice and noodle dishes, with the tender Gulai Ayam earning particular praise. Each dish carries a hint of coastal heritage, inviting diners to explore the nuances of East Coast Malay cuisine, from the fragrant masak lemak to the spicy sambal.
During my visit, I was particularly taken by the dedication to quality and the friendly service from the staff. The engaging atmosphere, complemented by friendly cashiers who add a personal touch, ensures every guest feels welcomed. Though some popular offerings may sell out during peak hours, like the coveted Nasi Kerabu, the substitutions are equally enticing, ensuring a delightful culinary adventure no matter when you arrive.
In conclusion, Restoran Citarasa Mokku stands as a beacon of authentic Malaysian cuisine in Marang, Terengganu. It is a must-visit for anyone seeking not only delicious food but also a taste of local culture. So gather your friends, find a cozy spot, and prepare to indulge in some of the best traditional dishes the east coast has to offer!

We four Chinese ladies stopped over for lunch on the way from KT to Sg Lembing. Wanted to eat nasi kerabu and nasi dagang but sold out as they were served for breakfast. Glad to try lunch dishes that slightly different from west, the sambal, masak lemak, curry, kerabu and grill. We enjoyed east coast Malay cuisine. And friendly cashier too.
